Field Day Multi Club Event Part II

Get ready! The fourth full weekend of June is fast approaching and a joint FD is in the works again. It was such fun last year that the DDXA and JARC has decided that it will happen again. We hope that the Coast Guard, Westside ARC, GNOARC, Ozone ARC and New Orleans CERT will come on board to make this one another great community effort. We already have 2 5th wheel campers lined up for the operating positions and comfort will be available. Come out and see if you can help break last years attendance record. Stay tuned for more on this fun event.

Clubhouse restoration continues

The last couple of weeks have been fantastic where the clubhouse is concerned. It has been pressure washed, and it has been readied for wiring. Thanks to Dave K., Mike D, Steve and Paul F. Jerry J, Don O, Dick D, Arthur C, Rafael and Claudia S, and Keith B. we are moving right along. The furniture donation is in storage and ready for the install and an A/C System has been pledged. Mike says that he expects the wiring to be completed by mid April. The next work parties will be set up as needed as we will have to seal the building at the ground and then insulate. We are still looking for some Foam Board for the Lower Walls and Batt insulation for the Ceiling. Please help if you can. Thanks again for everyone\\\'s help We believe that the building can be put in service in short order with the support of all of the members.
