Antenna Party/Field Day....AWESOME!!!
After over 5 years without any "real" antenna's the JARC is now QRV. All of which we could not have accomplished without the help of several fine individuals.
The antenna installation took 2 days of work in the boom truck donated by the recreation department. With Roy in the bucket with me, the truck made a very difficult situation bearable. We also had help from Ted Saba, KN5O, Greg Shultz, W5RY, Ray Crain, KB5GA, Steven Fogg, N5VUZ, Paul Fogg, K5GVD, Dick Dannenberg, W5RMX, Mike Saladino, WB5LLI, Don Olson, WB5QAZ, and Mike Villarrubia, AE5MW.
We have two towers loaded with aluminum. One has a Mosley Classic 33 and a 6 ele 6 meter beam, the other has a Force 12 C3S, a 22 ele UHF beam and a 13 ele VHF beam.
Gee it is nice to hear stations on the radio's again.
