The Jefferson Amateur Radio Club will be fielding a team to participate in the North American SSB QSO Party on Saturday, August 15, 2015. The contest lasts for 12 hours and begins at 1800 UTC on August 15 to 0600 UTC on August 16. This is 1:00 pm on Saturday to 1:00 am Sunday Morning locally.
The object of the contest is to work as many North American stations as possible during the contest period including Hawaii. Even if you are a novice to contesting or an experienced contester, all are invited to take part.
The exchange is Operator name and station location (state, province or country) for North American stations; operator name only for non-North American stations. Multi operator stations, which is what the JARC will operate, are required to use a single name throughout the entire contest.
